Defend the Fort

July 18, 2017

What did it take to defend Fort Carillon from an English attack during the French and Indian War? This tour follows the instructions laid out by the highly trained French engineers who faced this daunting question. Follow in their footsteps as you join Fort Ticonderoga’s Curator to explore areas of the fort inaccessible to the general public and see how preparations were made to combat the British as well as the fort’s own deficiencies.

Space is limited to 20 people. An extended period of walking is required on this tour and it is not handicap accessible or appropriate for those who have difficulty walking.  All sales are final, no exchanges or refunds. Tour will proceed rain or shine.
