Chocolate Covered History Symposium

Chocolate, wines, brandy, and spirits played a vital role during the 18th century and in the military life of soldiers. Fort Ticonderoga's "Chocolate Covered History" weekend event provides guests with the opportunity to experience the origins and role of chocolate in the military in the 18th century. This weekend combines wines, spirits, chocolate, and history with a champagne reception, full-day symposium, and gala dinner. The day-long symposium includes presentations on the role chocolate played throughout history, including its 18th century use at outposts like Fort Ticonderoga. Breakout sessions will provide opportunities to taste various foods using American Heritage Chocolate.
