Most sessions during the week take place at the Deborah Clarke Mars Education Center at Fort Ticonderoga. Due to the remote location of Fort Ticonderoga, there is no WiFi access in the Mars Education Center and limited connectivity for cell phones inside the building.

Cell phone customers of AT&T and Verizon will have cell coverage in most places around the town of Ticonderoga and at Fort Ticonderoga. Customers of other services will have spotty service.

Rooms at the Best Western Plus Ticonderoga Inn & Suites have free WiFi access.

Selected readings during the workshop will include primary sources from the Fort Ticonderoga Collections. Due to the size of our group of NEH Summer Scholars, we will not be able to access the Thompson-Pell Research Center at Fort Ticonderoga during the week. If you have specific research interests or needs, please contact Rich Strum, Project Director, in advance of your workshop. He will be happy to assist you as he is able and staffing permits.
