Virtual Classroom: A Soldier’s Life, American Revolution

Teachers, Fort Ticonderoga will bring A Soldier’s Life into your virtual classroom! Bring your students the day-to-day experience of being a soldier in the American Revolution, through this visually rich, entertaining program.

Each A Soldier’s Life program features 30-minutes of an interactive presentation followed by 15 to 20-minutes of Questions and Answers. Featuring one costumed presenter and two moderators, this gives students the opportunity to ask and answer questions in a live chat.

In addition to a costumed educator, with high-quality reproduction historic items, A Soldier’s Life has visuals that connect math, geography, and historic concepts. We encourage teachers to help us customize their program to their local history, student inquiries, or curriculum goals.

ZOOM and Google Meet platforms are currently available.
