Image Delivery Fees
Fort Ticonderoga (“The Museum”) charges fees for reproductions to support offsetting the costs associated with ongoing digitization of the collections, photography equipment, editing software, and staff time. The Museum has not determined copyright status for all objects and photographs in our collection and is not responsible or determining copyright status or securing copyright permission. The Museum is acting only as the owner of the physical original. Possession of a reproduction from Ticonderoga’s Collection itself does not constitute permission to use it.
This agreement is valid for the individual project listed below. Rights to reproduce are non-exclusive and are granted for one-time use only. Permission to reproduce must be obtained in advance for each subsequent edition or reprint. Photographic material and the permission to reproduce images may not be reused, transferred, sold, or otherwise disposed of without written permission.
The fees outlined below are per image. To request a reproduction of an image from The Museum, please fill out the Application for Photography Reproduction below:
All reproduced images must include the credit line “Fort Ticonderoga Museum Collection“ or as otherwise provided by museum staff.
