COVID-19 News from Fort Ticonderoga

Visitors are required to wear face coverings and adhere to physical distancing as well as all applicable New York State and CDC requirements. At this time, no indoor spaces are open to the public. Check back frequently for updates on our schedule and offerings.

Tickets are encouraged to be purchased online in advance of your visit due to the site capacity limitations. Tickets, as available, can be purchased upon arrival.

We have taken enhanced health and safety measures – for you, our other visitors, and staff. You must follow all posted instructions while visiting Fort Ticonderoga and Mount Defiance.

An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present. COVID-19 is an extremely contagious disease that can lead to severe illness and death. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, senior citizens and guests with underlying medical conditions are especially vulnerable.

By visiting Fort Ticonderoga and Mount Defiance, you voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19.
