COVID-19 News from Fort Ticonderoga

Fort Ticonderoga is open Tuesday-Sunday 9:30am-5:00pm, including all indoor spaces. We encourage visitors to wear approved face masks or coverings while indoors and when interacting with staff, per NYS and CDC recommendations for indoor locations where public vaccine status cannot be determined. Disposable masks are available at any register on-site, no need to mask up when outdoors.

Tickets can be purchased online in advance or on the day of your visit at the Admissions Booth.

We have taken enhanced health and safety measures – for you, our other visitors, and staff. You must follow all posted instructions while visiting Fort Ticonderoga and Mount Defiance.

An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present. COVID-19 is an extremely contagious disease that can lead to severe illness and death. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, senior citizens and guests with underlying medical conditions are especially vulnerable.

By visiting Fort Ticonderoga and Mount Defiance, you voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19.
