Living History Event: Proceed to Canada with all Possible Expedition

re-enactors lined up

Discover how veteran & newly recruited American soldiers at Fort Ticonderoga survived the harsh winter in 1776. Watch as oxen trudge through mud and snow, dragging sleds of supplies and hauling timber to carpenters. Lend a hand to New York soldiers as they unload and repack provisions and ammunition onto sleds for the besiegers of Quebec. Observe men build &  repair bateaux as they anticipate the thawing of the rivers and lakes mere months away. Explore Fort Ticonderoga as soldiers and artisans diligently work to keep the American cause alive. See reinforcements pass through Fort Ticonderoga on their way to bolster the Army in Canada.
