Twenty-First Annual Seminar on the American Revolution

September 19, 2025 - September 21, 2025

This annual premier conference focused on the military, political, social, and material culture of the American Revolution regularly features scholars from across North America and beyond.

Attendees can participate in person or join the conference from home via the Fort Ticonderoga Center for Digital History.

“The Battle of Valcour Island: Benedict Arnold Defends Lake Champlain—America’s History, LLC will again partner with Fort Ticonderoga to offer a one-day Revolutionary War bus tour led Chris Sabick and Bruce Venter. Chris was appointed executive director of the Lake Champlain Maritime Museum in 2023. A nautical archaeologist by training, Sabick has spent his entire professional career working on the lake and surrounding waterways with the LCMM. A complete tour description will be on the America’s History web site. The cost is $175 per person (includes bus, a boat tour on Lake Champlain, lunch, materials and refreshments.)
