Virtual Author Series featuring Jack Kelly

March 10, 2024

The Fort Ticonderoga Author Series features presentations by authors of books related to Colonial and Revolutionary War history.

In his new book God Save Benedict Arnold: The True Story of America’s Most Hated Man, author Jack Kelly brings the smell of gunpowder to every page in this riveting account of Benedict Arnold’s military career. Kelly’s account of Arnold’s brilliant battles at Valcour Island and Saratoga makes his traitorous decision at West Point more tragic and even more awful.

Jack Kelly is a journalist, novelist, and historian, whose books include Band of Giants, which received the DAR’s History Award Medal. He has appeared on The History Channel and been interviewed on National Public Radio. He lives in New York’s Hudson Valley.

Your participation in this online program through the Center for Digital History supports Fort Ticonderoga’s mission to preserve, educate, and provoke an active discussion about the past and its importance to present and future generations.
