Fort Ticonderoga is the perfect place to bring your group!  Whether you are planning a field trip with your students, a scout group outing, or a coach tour company creating a unique and memorable itinerary for your passengers, Fort Ticonderoga is just the place! Depending on the type and size of your group, we offer special discounts that can help everyone experience what we have to offer. We suggest that groups plan to spend at least 3 hours at our museum campus.

We offer a significant discount on general admission for student groups K-12.
$6.00 per student
One teacher chaperone / parent chaperone admitted free for every five students
Additional chaperones are admitted at $14.00 each

One of the best ways to explore Ticonderoga's history is from the water!  Embark on an adventure that you will never forget when you take a group boat tour on Lake Champlain aboard Fort Ticonderoga's touring boat. 

Historical Introductions

Historical Introductions are given by our expert museum staff, and provide the opportunity for participants to engage in an in-depth description of Fort Ticonderoga and its epic story. Introductions can be adjusted to the specific interests of the group.

  • Add a 15-minute historical introduction: $3.00 per person
  • Add a 30-minute historical introduction: $5.00 per person
  • Add a 1-hour historical introduction: $8.00 per person

**Historical introductions to the site's history must be scheduled at least 1 week prior to visit date.

Mount Defiance

Visit Mount Defiance to witness a birds-eye view of Fort Ticonderoga's epic military landscape and discover how this summit shaped America's History! Mount Defiance is open from May 28 - October 30, 2016, 9:30 am - 5:00 pm (Last admittance at 4:30 pm).  It is accessible by car and within a short walk to the summit. Large RVs and buses are not permitted.

  • Adults and Seniors: $2.50
  • Children (age 5-12): $1.50

Rent Canoes!

Rent a canoe for a day or half-day and gain a water-level perspective on Fort Ticonderoga and the surrounding landscape while enjoying the natural beauty and wildlife of the area. Read More

A Corn Maze Adventure! This six-acre activity is fun for all ages. Exclusive access to the maze is available for groups by advanced reservations. Read more
