Enlist in the Continental Army
Students will raise their hand in allegiance and enlist in the Continental Army during this immersive “To Act As One United Body” program including musket demonstrations and practice in formation tactics. Learn a Trade
Join Fort Ticonderoga’s talented historic trades staff in “The Artificer’s Apprentice” program for an in-depth active study in trades such as tailoring, carpentry, and shoemaking. The program fee is $10 per student with one free teacher chaperone/parent chaperone for every five students. Additional chaperones pay $14 each. General Admission for Youth Groups
Youth groups of any size enjoy a special rate for admission to Fort Ticonderoga including the fort, 10,000 sq. feet of museum exhibitions, living history and historic trades, weapons demonstrations, Mount Defiance, the King’s Garden, heritage breed animals, the Heroic Corn Maze (seasonal), Carillon Battlefield hiking trail, the Log House Welcome Center, the Museum Store, and America’s Fort Cafe. The rate also includes free parking.

Your self-guided student adventure begins when you step into the historic fort. Thrill at dramatic weapons demonstrations, explore museum exhibits and historic trades shops including shoemaking, tailoring, boat building, carpentry and more! Be sure to meet our friendly animals including oxen and chickens located in the King’s Garden. Ask about self-guided activities to enhance your field trip experience!
