July 20-21, in this exciting two-day battle reenactment, discover the last days for Fort Carillon (later named Ticonderoga), as 400 French soldiers faced an 11,000-man British Army! With different battle scenarios and living history vignettes, explore the science of siege craft, the power of artillery–on land and water–as General Jeffrey Amherst sought to take Ticonderoga and invade French Canada. Join Fort Ticonderoga for a special Saturday nighttime tour of the 1759 siege, featuring exciting cannon and mortar demonstrations.
